I like the slight extra wrist cover. Best as an under the jacket glove. Waterproof zipper and leather pull for easy hand entry. Outer hand has nice pad protection. The warmth is nice, even more so on this . CZone helps with breezes and cold days. Also important to waterproof them from time to time. Even more though in the spring when the snow is wetter. Reverse stitching on fingers for great fit and feel of hand and whats in your hands. I never used the wrist straps, but now I love them.
