Absolutely love these poles. After borrowing poles from friends and reading many reviews, I decided to go with these. No regrets. Best features: genuine cork grip which absorbs sweat and minimizes chafing potential, comfortable and adjustable straps, easy locking mechanism with pre-marked pole lengths, carbide tips. I found these lightweight poles to have good balance and provide sturdy support. Bonus points for the included ski baskets which I intend to try out this winter. I have about 100 miles of experience with these poles on the AT and surrounding areas and they've performed superbly. Great value!
