Gear Review
Very warm for its weight

Exceptionally warm for an 11.8 oz coat! Feels so light and comfy. Looks attractive compared to many bulky down parkas. I will likely wear it on errands, for walks between 20-40 degrees F, and carry it, stuffed, as an emergency extra-warm mid-layer for winter X-C ski outings and longer hikes. It would not be a good outer layer in wet weather, and it is not as washable as synthetic (they recommend washing it only once per season). Dark Mallard is a very attractive color. Size M is roomy for me (5'4", 122 lbs, with broad shoulders and long arms). It is quite comfortable over a fleece pullover. The two zippered hand pockets are comfy. Two inner pockets don't zip, but are quite large. I was actually shopping for a primaloft jacket, but this was SO much warmer for the same weight and so much more comfortable I couldn't resist it.
