Based on other reviews, I ordered a medium. It fit perfectly over a t-shirt, but was too small when I layered it over a fleece jacket that I would normally wear while skiing. So I sent it back for a large. I'm 5'10" and 165#. The only thing I don't like is that fabric is a little noisy.

Similar situation here - I'm 6' 175lbs 43 chest 31 waist and the M fit great with a t-shirt but was too tight across the chest and at the pits with anything heavier. Unfortunately the L is huge compared to the M - so much bigger in the chest and body than the M that it seemed like more than just one size up.
