Ranked #156 - Women's Down Jackets
October 19, 2011
So Backcountry.com advertises these down sweaters as "starting at $120" but it turns out only two of the 32 color/size options (both XL's) are $120--the rest are $200. Bad form.

The two jackets at $120 were probably from last season's stock - the regular price is $200. I don't think Backcountry is doing anything wrong, it's exactly as they say. You should note that they were simply selling last year's colors at a discount along with this new season's stock - it's not like they were trying to trick you. If you're looking for some good deals, you could try Backcountry's outlet - departmentofgoods.com - where everything from last season is discounted and you won't get confused by the new season's items. Check it out, it has GREAT deals. :)
