Best so far!

By Ranked #435 - Men's Synthetic Insulation Jackets October 18, 2011

I have a 2003 beat up hyvent shell and a 2007 mountain light shell...the redpoint zips into both and is super nice on its own. Incredibly light, much less bulky than the Nuptse I had...and is super warm! I can't write a full review because VA temps are not too bad right now..but I'm finally done with the perfect liner and stand alone jacket for my shells. I'm very happy with my purchase. I can only imagine with a little layering underneath I can pretty much sleep in the snow. Granted...I'm talking Virginia here, not Mt. Everest...someone extreme adventurer will have to review it for all that... I'm also very happy with the feel of it, its very easy to put on, and feels much, much lighter than fleece...and for me, feels nicer and smoother than fleece.
