Fun and Versatile

Hopped on a pair of 192s last May at Snowbird on a sneaky pow day. 8-12" off the cirque and choppy, heavy snow down below. Fell in love with these skis when I could slash and not hit bottom. They were light, playful, and surfy. I was also impressed by their carving abilities on the groomers. Hard to believe how super wide skis can still feel quick and responsive edge to edge.
Where I had to dock them a point was in between - "variable snow" (aka most snow). The Bents felt like they were getting thrown around a ton in the chop. Granted it was May, snow was heavy, etc, but they really felt noodley charging unsettled, in-bounds snow at high speeds.
I spent 40+ days on 195 Super 7s prior to this and the metal layer in them allowed me to feel much more confident and stable at high speeds. That said, the Super 7s are MUCH heavier and not as much fun if you love your flippy spinny thingys. The Bents are great skis, just beware if you prefer bombing steeps to buttering pillows.

I'd like to voice my opinion on that. I ski'd on this ski around 80 days and there is a very different feel to them when your skiing most big mountain and skiing the steeps and I live in Jackson, compared to skiing in may and trying to go fast. It's just not what they're made for. Once you get them into high speeds in most winter snow they do amazing. Especially the 192's.
