Ranked #67 - Men's Performance Tights
October 9, 2011
Me: 5'8", 31" waist, 31" inseam.
Uses: running and post cycling recovery in temps between 38-54F.
Performance: Good for cool weather running. A bit warm for post ride recovery (indoor afterall). I may use them for cyclocross if it snows but not for rain/mud because they'd be too warm/bulky. Will try them snowboarding but suspect them to be too warm. Go for the non-insulator if you want to wear them during events.
Fit: I chose "Small" based on the chart. I think "Medium" would be slightly better for me. The rise is a bit low and feels odd, particularly in the back (no I don't have them on backwards). I would also prefer a bit more coverage to the ankle. I'll size up next time.
Material/Quality: Good stuff, well built, no loose seams. All the supportive "straps" definitely do the trick. Thick enough to keep you warm without feeling like you're wearing a diving suit.
