Bright is Right

I've had Tikka family headlamps for years, and this is the best incarnation of the design I've seen yet. The bright setting is SUPER bright, enough so that I've been able to find rap anchors on dark granite, in the rain, in the dark. (Kind of a long story...) But, you can go to the low setting and flip down the more defuse wide angle lens and not blind your buddies. I'm also a big fan of the red light mode, it's super nice when you need a quick light, but don't want to loose your natural night vision. The optional "rescue whistle" is kind of a joke, but, this is a headlamp, not a whistle right?
