This is a Great Ski

By Ranked #126 - Alpine Fat Skis October 4, 2011

I'm not sure why this ski goes under the radar... it's awesome. Rocker in the tip and tail, camber and 110 underfoot makes for my ideal daily driver (mounted with Dukes) I'm on the '09 model and skied more than 100 days on them... I'm skiing these until they blow up. From an Atomic Rep I talked to, nothing has changed from '09 to '11.

Depending on your skiing style you may find the tails a bit soft (read: lots of cliff dropping), but I feel utterly confident charging through anything. The rocker assures you never catch your edge. These have great float and carving ability too. I ski CO mostly and these have been with me from the tops of 14ers, to powder days at Silverton, to rock days at A-basin.

If you live in an area that constantly get nuked... maybe go for the Bentchetlers (same profile/design... only bigger) but if your like 90% of all skier and are forced to ski in everthing.. The Blog is a great one-ski-quiver
