Ranked #31 - Men's Ski Boots
September 19, 2011
I skied with this boot last season and I sort of have mixed feelings about them. The reason I'm only giving them 3 stars is because of the performance vs the price and overall concept. Let's just say these boots are for fat, and I mean super fat feet. I have a medium to wide foot, and my feet were way too narrow for these boots. The biggest positive about these boots is they are unbelievably comfortable. If you are an average to intermediate skier, who doesn't charge very hard, but either is on the heavier side or just likes stiff boots, than these are for you. I've had several different boots over the years, and these were by far the most comfortable. However, when it comes to controlling long fat skis in the powder, these struggled quite a bit. These boots have a nice stiff and smooth flex, which is awesome on the piste, but when you get into powder or crud, they just don't respond as fast as higher performance boots. If you have a fat foot, just likes to cruse on the mountain, are a little heavy or just likes stiff boots, I highly recommend. Unfortunately they just weren't right for me.
