This beacon has a lot going for it and simplifies the search part of the rescue. It has a "Multiple Burial" light the comes on if it detects more than one transmitting beacon. Although you can't completely mask a beacon once found, using the "Special Mode" allows you to reduce the search angle and lock on to the second signal. In the end, what matters most with beacons is becoming comfortable with the one you own and lots of practice.

A longer initial acquisition range is the only improvement I would want.
