It got better

Got a chance to get in these boots and they are definitely a step up from the original. If I still skied 75 mm this would be my boot of choice. Honestly a really solid boot for those that like to ski fast on big stiff planks.
The first thing that you notice is the complete redo of the liner. It works a million times better for warmth, fit, and BOA use than the original. The boa was repositioned and I believe less of a BOA line to coil now too. The cuff flex on this boot matches the bellows flex.
It's a definite good choice for those that want to push themselves and have a boot that'll back them up. I really dig the white buckles too.
