These shorts are great for kayaking or hiking..or even just casual wear.
They are very ligthweight and are quick drying. Many pockets and zipped ones which are really handy. I did notice the newer version seems more prone to abrasion of the material, but they are so inexpensive and such a good deal it is easy to replace if damaged. Although I have not really worn a pair out yet.
I now have about 9 pairs of thes and love them
would highly recommend
