Nice and Stiff but Different Flex
By Alexander Romashko
Ranked #4 - Telemark Ski Boots

This boot is a great stiff boot. It has great lateral support and a good forward lean. However the Crispi bellows seems to be limited in flex due to the single bellow versus accordian style of Scarpa or Garmont. I also didn't like the toe box on these boots. They're definitely more narrow than the alternate brands. Crispi has softened the bellows to match the NTN binding spring strength which a lot of people like, but I'd rather see teh binding springs go up in strength. The our mode isn't as good as Garmont or Scarpa. If the bellows were accordian style and the toe box just a bit wider, I'd be skiing these still. For me the Scarpa TX Comp is the go to boot for all of NTN.
