Bought this for my niece for back to school and we could not be more happy with it. The backpack may be pink but don't just go off looks Dakine makes a heavy duty and reliable bag. The straps are adjustable so it will sit comfortably on her shoulders and wont hurt her back. The convenient water bottle holder, and middle storage space for her pencils is a plus. She may not a laptop to utilize the padded laptop sleeve but I am sure she will find something creative to do with it. Plenty of space for everything you could imagine.
Back to school here she comes!!!
