Houston, we have Gore-Tex!
By Seth Morrison
Ranked #7 - Men's Ski Pants

Been a long time in the works for us to get Gore in the line. First time I wore the suit I felt like I was forgetting something due to how light this is compared to previous 3 layer Shells. Nice side thigh to knee venting. No back pocket, no need. Removable chest bid. Cuff saver is reversed to the inside of the cuff for a cleaner look. Simple and light, it only gets better. Its a shell, so you need to layer!!

Hey Seth, thanks for the post. I decided to go with the full Seth Morrison setup, with the Gore Tex jacket/pants and the softshell. I was on the Pro Shell material last year, and was amazed at the solid construction but how light weight it was. See you out there!

Just saw these and now I'm not sure what to think about these being 3L Gore Pro considering at the end of last season I picked up a pair of the 2010-11 Oakley Primed bibs (Dermizax EV 30/20K). The reviews for the pants are good but I can't help but wonder if I am going to regret going from a 2L Gore pants back to a material that isn't either Gore or eVent? That being said, I know that even Gore breaks down over time and that is why I'm replacing my current pair of Special Blend 2L Gore pants. Don't get me wrong though, I picked the primed bibs up off of SAC so I can't get too worked up considering the price I paid. Overall, the construction of the primed bibs is bomber with everything in its right place. Can't wait to hit the skin track in them and finally have full zips to vent....and oh ya....did I mention that the fit and cut of the primed bibs even look sick on boarders. Over time I've come to realize that 98% of snowboard gear is pretty crappy with brutal waterproof/breathable ratings for way too much money so I've had to make the switch to skier gear that still has that boarder look and feel to it. I'll update once the snow starts to fly and I've logged some miles in them on the split...
