I tried on every pair...i mean every pair of hiking boots... at EMS and these were the only ones that worked for my narrow foot and heel. I am planning to put 500 miles on them this fall and hope all goes well. My husband has a pair of Asolo backpacking boots and they are over 5 years old and still going strong. These are well worth the price and they aren't made in China...Hooray!
