Outstanding glove! I've worn them now for two years and they are standing up well. As someone commented, the balm treatment that comes with the gloves does not last long as waterproofing, it seems that the leather gets wet, but does not penetrate the interior of the glove. Retreat them periodically with mink oil or similar stuff and they will retain their waterproof surface. I sprayed the fabric with scotchguard, and that helps to keep that surface dry. All in all, a great glove. I snowboard and the dexterity helps greatly for binding adjustments and entries. Warm and comfy, and I like the leash after getting used to it. I used to just ignore them on other gloves, or removed them, but these are comfortable and a great benefit when removing gloves on a lift. All in all, they have spoiled me.
