At first I thought this pad was a little hard... but it broke in more and more, and now it's awesome. Pretty rigid so it will cushion you on rough surfaces and the 600D polyester is SUPER DURABLE. I've have mine for a few years, throwing it onto sharp rocks and in the mud and it's stood up great so far.
