Ranked #10 - Tents

good little tent. room for your crap under the rainfly inside and out of the tent itself. no problems touching the tent walls and i am 6'3". plenty of mesh to vent well. not freestanding, but i always steak out my tent anyway...not a deal breaker for me. reasonable price for the weight. i take this when i dont feel like or it is too cold for me to use the ENO pronest or just tarp it. i dont use it probably as much as i should, but thats because i have become a hammock guy when i am solo-ing in reasonable weather. 4 season tent for me, but i live in the midwest. tent and fly are standard mountain hardwear quality. no, you cant sit all the way up in this thing, but i dont spend much time in my tents except to sleep anyway. there is enough room to change clothes inside. i like the side entry. poles are color coded "for easy setup" but its kind of unnecessary considering their size difference. window panel is pretty cool. it can be useful. i love mountain hardwear tents...EXCEPTIONAL PRICE:WEIGHT RATIO!!!!, easy to set up, stand up well to weather, never had one leak...they are strong, but i have only a little alpine experience...but the name suggests that is just the setting for which they were designed.
