The aspects about this camera that separates it from the others (VIO, Contour) is its versatility in what activities it can be used for, how many different ways it can be mounted, its easy apparatus and low cost. This explains exactly the positives I see when I use this camera along with the fact that it gives what it says, HD quality video and pictures.

I also find that there are a few things to note. All the video files are in an uncompressed format when stored in the device (MPEG) and if one wants to tweak anything, a video editor such as Apple's IMovie or anything higher is a necessity. Also, a program that converts MPEG files to an uncompressed version such as an AVI file is recommended. Also, if you are planning on running the GoPro at a higher resolution (r4 or r5) for more than a couple hours, invest in a second battery and at least an 8gb memory card.
