Does its job, and does it well!

This hydration pack is great! Keeps my water nice and cool in the summer months. I found it'll keep my water chilled for about 5-6 hours in 80º weather. The new Omega bladder helps to keep down on that funky plastic taste that some of the older bladders had. The bladder itself is super durable for my uses with backpacking, and fits perfectly in my Osprey Mutant 38. I have the 100 oz system, and it holds plenty of water for me for the entire day. The only thing is with these bladders, they do require some maintenance, mainly just to keep them clean. If you just use water in them it helps to keep down on the amount of time you have to clean it. The big bite valve works well, and the shut off on the valve is a great idea also, because it prevents unnecessary leaks, which can be disastrous if you are rationing your water.
