Great Shorts, Sizing is Off

Just got these yesterday. They are actually quite cool - the ultra-thin softshell-like material will work great for running or biking, but also doesn't look weird when paired up with button down shirt. If I had to pick one pair of shorts to wear all summer - I think I could do everything in these - work, run, bike, swim and climb. First "athletic" short that I've ever held that works for casual wear without looking like an athletic short.

Now for the big bummer - the medium was way too tight. I am a 33 waist in about everything, so I'm hoping that the sizing chart is equally wrong for the Large because I really want some of these shorts. I'll update this when the exchange arrives for the Large.

UPDATE: Large was a perfect fit. Have now run, climbed and used these over some bib shorts for long MTB rides. They work great for all of those things.
