I got this gps 12 years ago, (not from this site, sorry) for a present from my dad. I got it for hiking out in the mohave, and it worked great. i held on to it and used everytime i went hiking then 5 years later joined the army and took it with me on three seperated deployments to Iraq and it never failed me. Then the unthinkable happend, on the way home while unloading bags the screen cracked. Hey it still works but its hard to see the readings so i guess it's time buy another. 12 years of use though, not bad at all. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. great product
