Gear Review
Large is too large ... Medium too large...

I bought two pair, both large. I wear a size 34 waist 34 inseam and both pair can be pulled off without un-buttoning them. They feel like I imagine a 38 would fit. Also the zipper lands right on my knee, from past experience that would be a problem on a long hike.
Oops. I should have followed the size chart instead of the review. It says right on the size chart that I should have bought a medium.
OK, I followed the size chart and ordered a medium. They are also too big. Now I will try a small. I just measured my waist, it is 33".
The small arrived, they might have fit me back in 1985. What gives, Mountain Hardware used to be great?
Backcountry did the right thing with a free return and a suggestion for some exofficio pants that fit great.

I agree with the bit about the zipper landing right on the knee. Feels awkward and could be an issue if you're putting in high mileage.
