Mountaineering perfection

The picture posted by Backcountry is a picture of the Super-Fly XT jacket (new version), and not the standard Super-Fly jacket. Based on the description, this must be the Super-Fly XT.
This jacket is PHENOMENAL. It's full eVent, and the fabric seems to have a 'softer' hand than my Rab Latok. It does not feel crunchy or make much noise. The fabric is not as burly as that of a Rab Latok, but the construction quality is higher. The stitching is akin to what you would see on a Westcomb or Arc'teryx jacket, with no overlapping seams. The higher price tag is justified by the build-quality and details. This jacket is better than any Rab jacket I've tried on. The fit is functional and accomodates layering.
This can be worn for any activity, but it was definitely designed for mountaineering with perfectly placed napoleon pockets and hand pockets. There are pit zips, but I never use them because eVent laminate fabric is so breathable.
The Alpine red version with reflective detailing is BRIGHT. I feel like I'm glowing.
