Gear Review
Not as good as the older model

I have a Cloud Cover pack fly from 2005 that is still going strong after 1,000 miles on the AT and multiple weekend hikes, so I ordered another one for my Osprey Talon 44 (XS fits perfectly - the S is too big, I tried that first). The attached stuff sack on this is very small, making it hard to put away. (It's harder than getting my sleeping bag liner in it's teeny stuff sack - I much prefer the bigger bag on the older Cloud Cover model.) The bungee cord is also tough to use at first - I think it needs to break in because it did get better after playing with it for a while. If I didn't have such a great experience with my older Granite Gear pack fly I probably would return this. The upside is that it's definitely small and lightweight. I haven't used this in the rain yet, but I have no doubt it will be waterproof.
