Much Better than Gerber Gator Combo with Knife

Gerber also makes a shorter version with a fine edge knife. Knife is great, but axe simply doesn't have enough weight on it to not wear your arms out. This is a great alternative, but make sure to aim when your swinging, the edge does not take kindly to rocks or gravel. The soft metal will dull fast from its initial sharpness. I've sharpened mine 3-4 times since I bought it in november. Great for a few nights in the woods!!
