great fit

I have never been able to find a traditional EPS helmet that fit as well as the Hard Hat. It sits low and doesn't shift. Most importantly, it is comfortable. I wear a helmet for several lesser impacts. I switched to Brock foam after realizing my EPS helmets that I wore were probably already damaged from an impact, thus making them quite useless. This Hard Hat has withstood several glancing blows from trees and the ground. I have the Matte Grey with plaid, and it looks different from the picture. It is much darker, and has black straps instead of white. That's what I got when I ordered it this season from Backcountry. Oh yeah, this helmet doesn't look ridiculous with the liner taken out making it great for warm days and spring skiing.
