Meh.....

I've had this thing for about 5 years now. Since day 1 its never been OMG amazing. That being said, its done a decent job. The light,when on high is plenty to keep my 6 person tent lit enough to chit chat and play cards. On low its barely anything, less light then a kids night light. The fan on High, doesn't give off that much wind. BUT the little bit it gives off is a heck of a lot better than nothing on those hot stuffy nights. I originally said this thing was worthless, and I forgot it at home on a trip. I was sorely missing it when I didnt have it that trip w/ the temp in the 80s at night.
The weight like the other guy stated is aprox around 5lbs, for that reason I'd say ditch it for backpacking trips. For car camping its nice to have.
Again for the $20 or so I paid, its worth it and I recommend it for hot summer nights
