Excellent spring/fall hiker

I've had many pairs of Merrell's and the fit was just what I expected- plenty of room in the toe box to accomodate my wide, flat feet. After 4 hours hiking the Rachel Carson Trail (Pittsburgh) in snow/sleet/rain and about a half dozen creek crossings, I returned home with my dogs still warm and dry.
