Gear Review
It's not a fanny pack, haters, it's a LUMBAR PACK

I love this "manny pack" for several reasons: 1: I love arguing with people who tell me it's a fanny pack and I ALWAYS end up winning the argument, 2: I love the color (orange) and the style. 3: It's great for what it is. I can't tell you how many people who have complained about lumbar packs because they don't have enough room for their gear... to clarify: it's not meant for hikes that require you to carry your whole collection of gear... it's meant to hold a few snacks, a water bottle or 2, rain gear, a headlamp, knife, first aid kit, and etc - (essentials for a simple day hike).
I also really like the opposite zippers on the compartments. Even the loops on the zippers help out a ton when grabbing something without taking off the whole pack.
The bag is quite durable and can stand up to quite a bit of a beating. It is also quite comfortable when positioned correctly on your hip bone.
If I have a gripe it's this, which really isn't that big of a deal: The shoulder strap pad is stitched to the strap itself and you cannot adjust it as easily as if it could slide; however, the strap is adjustable closer to the clips, but I'd prefer a sliding pad.
I've always loved Backcountry's warranty and customer service, so thank you Backcountry for making me want to come back for all of my gear needs. Also, thank you to Marmot for making a great lumbar pack!
