At first I was a bit disappointed with the gloves. My hands get cold very easily and these were rated very well. When I started the Romp Stomp in Frisco (a snowshoe event for Breast Cancer) the temps were 8 degrees. My hands were getting cold, so I pulled out the hand warmers, put them on the back of my hands inside the gloves. Within a minute my fingers even warmed up!! These gloves would not work for downhill skiing for me.
