I Hate This Bag

Ranked #118 - 55 to 30 Degree Synthetic Bags

I got the Lazer because the weight is great and I hike in a damp area (the Cascades). But the bag is so narrow that it is extremely uncomfortable. I am 5-10 and 210 pounds, a mens size 46R. This bag shaves weight for sure, but if you have an athletic build, its like being in a strait jacket. Side-sleeping was impossible. If you are skinny, sleep on your back, or dont mind a body-hugging fit, then you might be ok with the Lazer. There is no way I could wear an extra layer other than tight longies to sleep in this bag. The foot vent was great- loved it- and the half-zip was fine. Too bad about the overall dimensions.

I would argue there're various degrees of being 'athletic'! At 210 lbs/5'10" you probably eat double or triple so it's no wonder you require a double sleeping bag :) Wasn't the whole purpose of lifting those weights to make it so you don't fit in doorways? :) Here's the other side of the coin for ya
