Great pant

The old rain shadow pants are awesome, still wearing them from 2007 and average 100-200 days a year in the field backpacking for work. The material is waterproof. I have got slightly damp from perspiration when hiking hard (but I am very warm blooded and sweat alot and easily), this internal wetness has dried out while in camp and not hiking from body heat. They are now 3oz heavier with the full side zip, which some will see as a plus(sidezips) and some as a negative(wt). Note that backcountry.com states they have 4 pockets, and I'm pretty sure they still have none.
