So far I've found the Spire to be well built, dependable, and meets most of my needs. My first jacket with a powder skirt and I don't know why I waited so long to get one of those but it is great, and I'd never go skiing without one again. Solid, dependable, no frills shell from Marmot that I'd recommend for all your skiing and winter needs.
