AWESOME GLOVE

I'm Swedish and have always had Hestra gloves for any type of winter outdoor adventures. So, when these came on sale, I bought them (size 6) for our active 9 yr. old son since they are essentially bulletproof and you can buy a replacement liner (if needed) in a few years. He tried them in a chilly, windy 11 deg. F with the windchills down to 0 deg. F in New Hampshire over the weekend. Although he skied for nearly 20 km with my husband, his hands were toasty warm (everything else was covered with a thin layer of ice by the time they got back). All this without the hand warmers we usually put in our gloves. So, in a nutshell, if you live in cold climates and love the outdoors, spend a little bit extra and buy these gloves as they are worth their weight in gold!! On a side note, we bought kids Hestra gloves when our children were younger and they too have lasted 4 long winters (through both kids) in cold wintery Maine.
