Look great, feel great...but not warm

These pants really look and feel great. Flattering fit, stretch fabric is very comfortable. Given that they are not insulated, I wasn't expecting them to be toasty, but adding to the chill factor is that they really don't seem to be windproof. I'm keeping the pants and bought some insulated CWX tights to wear underneath. Hopefully that will do the trick. Otherwise, these may be best for spring skiing.

Did your tights work? And where and what condition do you usually wear this pants? (Temperature, weather...etc).
