This has been my daily fall to spring jacket for the last 2 years. I wear it every chance I get, to town or backcountry. It is quite heavy and I don't pack it unless I plan on wearing it for the whole trip. The DWR was starting to get weak, so I washed it and used Nikwax Softshell Proof and it got it within 75% of the orginial coating. The cuffs haven't stretched out and the zippers still works perfectly. The chest pocket is perfect size for an ink pen and cell phone. The fabric breates well and keeps me very warm. I can wear it with a t-shirt to about 25 degrees before needing to bulk up. I have spent time in it comfortably at 15 degrees with a simple capilene baselayer underneath. It also does very well in extreme (40+ mph) winds and keeps heat from being sucked out. I am 5'6 and 170 lbs with a long torso and boxy shoulders and a large fits me well but a bit loose around the waist area.
