awesome boot

I bought these boots last fall. I wear an 81/2, so bought a 91/2 that fit my feet perfectly with the adequate amount of toe room with heavy wool socks. I have narrow feet and medium arch. They aren't the lightest boot, but they're not meant for trail running. The tread is heavy duty. The brown and green style is super cool, and I loved them immediately. I couldn't fit my sofsoles in them with out my upper feet rubbing on the inner top of the boot. They vent really well in the heat with the soles they come with. I can stand in the middle of a stream and the water just rolls around them, no saturation. I wore these on my Zion NP 40mi trip in October and they rocked. I always carry 30lbs or less so I had no issues, no blisters. I don't care if others say only "old" women wear ankle high boots. These kept me from rolling my ankles so many times I can't count. I haven't done serious long distance in them yet, but I have a feeling they will do just fine.
