Mountaineering food

This is one of the few entrees that always seems to make our short list when we're planning our meals. Nice flavor, simple, filling. It's chicken, it's rice, kind of a flavored broth (similar in taste to Top Ramen seasoning) mixed in that can be either served like a soup or as a thicker stew thing, depending on how much water you add. Works either way. It's one of those meals that's great for when you're at higher altitudes and don't feel like eating, but know you need to and should. Not over the top with spices, so it gives you some basic solid food, pretty good energy and flavor, but not so much that it messes with your stomach. Like all Mountain House food, high sodium, but not so much where you're tasting only salt. All in all, good stuff that's worth checking out.
