Gear Review
A LOT of fun.....

Ranked #787 - Big Mountain Freeride Skis

Used these in backcountry with shorter 50 minute type skinning hikes. No issues at all re weight when heading up and the width allows you take a more direct path in some cases when ascending.
Going down - awesome. A very smooth ski across crud, crust and powder. Turning these things takes no effort even by end of a big day.
Not sure i'd buy them if groomers made up even 30% of your time. Definately would if i knew the vast majority was side or backcountry.
