Credo Softshell - Goes to the Men in my family

I found backcountry on the internet, searched for roughly 6 weeks through endless piles of jackets to find one that would fit the larger woman. Of course in typical style, all womens jackets finish waist height, or are made for the small petite size 10 - 12 woman. (Girl)

But BIG women go camping, skiing, mountain climbing, touring etc etc etc. They don't just sit at home and eat.

After extensive research, I finally chose the Credo Softshell. The measurements, the comments on the blogs, made me think that this jacket may possibly be the one for me. I ordered it, according to measurements given on the site, waited very patiently for it to arrive.

The Online Staff were absolutely fantastic to deal with. What a blast to find the little Live Chat box come up and I could ask them any questions directly as I was shopping on their site. I would not have bought the jacket if it wasn't for their helpful response to my enquiries.

Approx 8 - 10 days and the jacket had arrived in Australia, Outback North Qld. I was very impressed with the postal delivery. The jacket is soft, comfortable, attractive. Could be for a man or woman.

But alas when I tried it on, The chest was big, The hips were too tight. The arms are very long, and the tail of the jacket comes way past the hips, over the top of your bottom. This helps to keep the kidneys warm. I would say longer than any other jackets. But a tight fit at the hip area in comparison to other 3xl of other brands. Definitely for the big chested, slim hipped tall man.

My husband thanks you kindly, it fits him perfectly and now he has booked to go to Canada next year just to try the jacket out. Alas I go to New Zealand without a jacket. But none the less, a very attractive jacket Back Country.
