Not as rugged as I expected....

I really like these boots. They're very comfortable, waterproof and look good. I bought the red ones.

HOWEVER:
These boots are definitely NOT made for active, cold weather pursuits and walking in snow in sub zero temps around -10F to -30F. Note I said IN snow, not on it. My feet were freezing!

They simply do not insulate well enough. Don't know where I heard they were good to -40F because that's definitely not the case.

They're good for city-walking, on a snowy sidewalk or even gravel road, but they are definitely not meant for trudging through snow banks all day long.

I thought these boots would be rugged, but they're not. They're cute.
