OK, I was skeptical about this board and all the hype surrounding it so I tried one. Looking down at such a short board was a trip but halfway through my first run I started to get it. This is NOT a noodle jib board. It is an all mountain killer. It has a super responsive yet buttery feel. I have yet to try it on real hard pack (Not sure full rocker boards are a good choice for icy conditions anyway). I have ridden this board in powder conditions and the float is incredible. The shorter length and snappy feel gives you ninja like precision through trees and tight crud. Ride this like a skateboard and you will not be disappointed. You may not like it if you have an old school alpine style. But for me, kinda all mt.jibber/slasher style, it kills. Forget everything you THINK you know about board design and try one. Burton has once again borrowed from the surf world by putting material where you need it and removing it where you don't to create a smaller, more manageable tool. Not sure if it is a quiver killer but we'll see.
