Awesome Boots!

I really am satisfied with these boots for everyday use and especially for snowshoeing. They are light and definite warm while walking around. No foot slipping inside the boot permitting you have the right size of boot. (I read somewhere about ordering these boots a half size larger than what you normally wear. I found this true.)
I dont think I would use this boot for an extended amount of time in very cold weather unless you are going to be continuously moving around. Standing around for long periods of time your feet could get cold. Couple of times a year, I go into the Boundary Waters in the winter and this year, I couldnt trust them so I left them at home. I have been in our recent -21 degree cold (Two Harbors MN) for about 3 hours and my feet didnt get cold. But I was moving around.
Cons: I really dont care for the heavy nylon lace loops, especially the loops above the ankle. I could see them wearing out sooner than like metal loops. I also dont agree with the description stating the rubber sole changes in cold and gives better grip on icy and slick driveways. I have found them to be slippery on icy driveways. (Great traction everywhere else) I also feel that the loop on back of the boot to pull on your boot could be stronger. I take caution when using because it does feel weak as if you could pull right thru it.
I would recommend this boot besides my cons. These are cons I can live with because I am not using these boot for extreme adventures. I feel backcountry has a fair price on this boot. I wear these everyday and my feet has always stayed warm and dry.
