Really warm but leaks feathers all over the place!

I really love the jacket and it's super warm but it really leaks feathers from the stitches in the quilted liner. I've had the jacked for almost a year. I was hoping that it would break in and stop leaking, but it doesn't look like this will be the case.
I'm thinking about sending the jacket back for repair.
