SLIPPERY AND DANGEROUS!

Let me start out by saying that these are the most solid, best made boots I have ever owned. They are also the coolest looking boots I've ever owned, the problem is the sole! It is sooo slippery in wet weather on wet rocks or wet roots...I have almost broken my neck every time I put them on! No kidding! It frustrates me because I'm so impressed with the rest of the quality. They are also extremely slippery on wet tile or any smooth surface. I wish there was a way to replace the sole!

I thought the same thing but as I've worn them they've improved. Every time I wear them they seem to get better. I'm wondering if it's just an outer coating?
