Hardly Dynafit compatible

I have Dynafit TLT (the kind most people have) and these boots had to be modified to fit into the front pinch pivots! I had to carve off several millimeters of rubber off of the sole for the boots to fit into my bindings. Personally, I love Black Diamond, but I was super disappointed they did not take the time to do a little research to make these "dynafit compatible". I am pretty disappointed. Also, make sure to heat mold them BEFORE your first day out as the toe box is incredibly small. Try these on before you buy, because the toebox is so small. It seems the liners aren't the right size for the shells, as each liner (and I tried on multiple) was super tight in the toebox but the shell fit perfectly. The fit was subsequently poor because the liner is what ultimately surrounds your foot.
Other than that, I like the boa laces and the stiffness is great.

My Dynafit TLT 5 Mountain had the very same problem - had to cut sole off the front of the boot under the pins so the bindings would not self release all the time. Hardly a boot problem, but rather an issue with some Dynafit bindings that interfere with boots even made by Dynafit.

I also had issues with front of boot fit in dynafit toe piece, albeit earlier versions that look like speed. Had to carve out chunk on eich side of boot on sole approx 1" long and 3/8 bead so that it didnt pre-stress the tow towers prior to seating into back binding. But other than that I think they are great and give them a 4 out of 5.
